The NORMANDIE MEMOIRE association was set up on the initiative of the Lower Normandy Regional Council, along the same lines as the Association Débarquement et Bataille de Normandie 1944 (ADBN 44), which coordinated events marking the 50^th Anniversary of D-Day.

     It is a non-profitmaking association, in accordance with the Act of July 1^st 1901 and the decree of August 16^th 1901 and has an unlimited term.
