Located on the site of the American landing on 6th June 1944, the Utah Beach museum relates the military and technical exploit which has made the Madeleine beach famous. Some vestiges are still visible on the beach but the most precious souvenirs are housed inside the museum, built around an old bunker at point WN5 where the first American troops set foot on Normandy soil on 6th June 1944. The museum invites you to relive the history of that exceptional D Day.
