This museum retraces the history of one crack American unit specially trained for one specific mission on D Day - the capture of Pointe de Hoc. Through texts and photographs, the visitor can track the history of this unit from its creation in Northern Ireland on 19 June 1942 to the end of the battle on Pointe du Hoc on 8 June 1944.
