The Musée de la Percée du Bocage is dedicated to Operation Bluecoat, eld by General Montgomery during which the British divisions (11th Armoured, Armoured Guards and 15th Scottish) enjoyed considerable success. Retracing life under the Occupation in 1940 to the Liberation in 1944, the Resistance and the violent combats in the hedgerows during which the 11th Armoured Division succeeded in pushing back some of the strongest forces of the German army.
