This museum displays pieces and exceptional equipment which demonstrate the evolution of warfare over the years and the consequences for everyday life. Nearby are the remnants of the Omaha artificial harbour.

The museum houses some true collectors items of military history such as the Enigma machine while outside lie landing craft.
