Since 1932, the cidrerie Viard at Guéron 3 km from Bayeux, has been producing cider following traditional methods with apples grown in Normandy countryside. You will learn about the different stages of "Bayeux" cider-making : the orchard, the cellars, the packaging room.
You will also discover the historic aspect of this cider distillery which was the first one of France to be liberated. You will see differnet personal and asual artifacts left by the liberators.
